Description:
The Cisco QSFP-100G-ER4L-S compatible transceiver module is a high-performance, hot-swappable device designed for use in 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications. It supports data transmission rates of up to 100Gbps over distances of up to 40 kilometers on single-mode fiber.
This transceiver module uses four lasers (DFB) to transmit and four APD receivers to receive data. It is compliant with the IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-ER4 Lite standard and is also interoperable with other QSFP28 MSA compliant devices.
The Cisco QSFP-100G-ER4L-S compatible transceiver module also supports Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM/DOM) which allows real-time monitoring of operating parameters such as temperature, voltage, and laser bias current. This information can be used to diagnose potential problems and ensure optimal performance.
